Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!

As sad as this is, I never got around to writing about Australia in my blog (which was created for the sole purpose letting my friends and family know of my whereabouts and the crazy things me and mike have been getting ourselves into while over there). So here we go, I decided to put up the top 10 highlights. I promise to be better next travels!
In no specific order...

#10...The Australia Zoo (Go Steve Irwin!!!)
Crocodiles EVERYWHERE! you know thats my kinda place

#9...AFL Games
We were hooked after watching just one game. Think American football mixed with rugby, now take away all padding...thats Aussie Rules Football! GO MAGPIES!

#8...Melbourne (in general)

Franti!

What can i say, i absolutely love this city. I dont know why, because im not a big city person.  Its filled with art and parks and tons of awesome free stuff to do, plus great microbreweries and crazy bars (including our favorite, The Craft, which hold the world record for largest beaker collection and is modeled to look like an old hospital...yes, the shots come in syringes.

#7...Seeing Michael Franti and Spearhead in Adelaide
Another cool city...A very amazing band. front row! Mike made sure i knew that he touched michael frantis hand.

#6....Tasmanian Devils
The cute (devilish) little buggers. I fell in love with them.

#5....Watching the New Years fireworks in Sydney
       What can I say....Absolutely beautiful

#4.... Discovering one of our new favorite bands!
Brothers Grimm and The Blue Murders.  Saw them open for Charlie Parr in Melbourne. They blew us away. Dirty southern blues! awesome guys!

#3....Save the rainforest parties in Tasmania
They may have gotten freezing at night, but it was for a good cause. Music, firedancing, crazy parties.

#2...Cygnet Folk Festival
Good music, Good weather, Good food, Good people!

Brothers Grimm and the Blue Murders

#1...Byron Bay
Same as above! Lots of love at The Arts Factory and The Buddah Bar! Beautiful Places!
